PARAG D. GANDHI, MD
Dr. Gandhi is a board-certified Ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained Oculofacial & Orbital Surgeon who joined Advanced Eye Care & Aesthetics in 2018. He has practiced in the field of Ophthalmology for over 15 years. He received his medical degree and Ophthalmology training from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in NYC. He then completed his sub-specialization in Oculofacial Surgery through a fellowship program sponsored by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS), the national society that sets standards for the most competitive and comprehensive training programs in his field. He is an active member of this society.
Dr. Gandhi comes to Advanced Eye Care from the Duke Eye Center of Winston-Salem, where he had a busy consultative and surgical practice for 11 years, and was Assistant Professor at Duke University and faculty of the School of Medicine. He has been an invited speaker to numerous national and international conferences, has published articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, and has performed surgery and teaching internationally through humanitarian mission trips.
During the early phase of his career, Dr. Parag D. Gandhi developed a keen interest and skill in Oculofacial Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine, including the development of individualized treatment plans for his patients. He is dedicated to bringing cutting edge technology and customized techniques to our practice, and providing the highest in quality care to our patients and medical community. He enjoys teaching and interacting with his patients and colleagues, and is a strong advocate for patient education.
At Advanced Eye Care & Aesthetics, Dr. Gandhi offers a wide range of facial and periocular reconstructive and cosmetic procedures, from orbital surgery and Mohs reconstructions for medical needs to skin care and laser treatments for rejuvenation and aesthetic considerations. He is a new member of the American Society of Laser Medicine & Surgery (ASLMS).
On a personal note, Dr. Gandhi is married with two children and is an avid traveler, downhill skier and scuba diver. With his career background, he is excited to provide sub specialty care to the Harford County community.
